📋 Description

• Design data models and execute data migrations with the engineering manager • Harden the data layer and improve its security, reliability, and accuracy • Build and maintain data pipelines and reporting access • Enable feature teams and business stakeholders to access trusted data independently • Monitor query performance, data quality, and capacity • Establish documented schema-change and data-quality processes • Deliver data security and governance improvements, including PHI access audit logs, data-store access controls, and sensitive-data detection • Review teammates’ code, especially data-related changes • Support other teams with data requests and security reviews • Partner with feature teams and stakeholders to shape the data platform

🎯 Requirements

• Production experience designing relational data models, planning and executing data migrations, and building reliable data pipelines • Current best practices in schema design, query performance, and data quality • Experience with data analytics or warehousing • Production experience building backend services and APIs using an object-oriented programming language • Experience securing sensitive data in production, including access control, encryption, audit logging, and handling PHI or PII • Experience with healthcare or another heavily regulated domain is nice to have • Experience building and using custom agents is nice to have • Experience with TypeScript, AWS, serverless functions, PostgreSQL, and Databricks is nice to have • Authorization to work for any employer in the US without restriction • Must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future
