📋 Description

• Develop, manage, and deliver fundraising campaigns in mosques and organisations throughout the year • Work with London & South regional managers to lead and coordinate fundraising activities • Develop and maintain a database of mosques, community centres, ISOCs, and organisations • Develop and deliver engagement and retention plans for fundraising relationships • Secure bookings for Ramadan and year-round collections • Organise dinners, events, speaker tours, conferences, and mosque tours • Visit and communicate frequently with mosque stakeholders • Recruit, train, develop, and engage mosque volunteers • Act as the main point of contact and HA ambassador between mosques, organisations, ISOCs, and Human Appeal • Negotiate agreements, generate leads, coordinate events, and provide assistance and branding materials • Liaise with Head Office Fundraising and Mosques departments • Manage fundraising projects and monitor return on investment • Maintain donor and account management systems, booking databases, cash-counting protocols, logs, receipts, and audit trails • Maintain budgets and expenditure, monitor and report income generation and variance, and achieve or exceed income targets • Provide feedback, receipts, certificates, and annual reports to mosques • Support fundraising colleagues and manage fundraising teams when required • Maintain compliance with charity policies, procedures, and professional standards

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum GCSE Mathematics and English • Ideally educated to degree level • Minimum of 2 years in a similar post • Proven track record of project and events management with a minimum of 2 years’ experience • Computer literate and competent with Microsoft Office, Social Media, and Donor Management systems • English language • Legal authorisation or right to work in the designated work location/duty station • Compliance with fundraising code of conduct, charity policies, health and safety, data protection, equal opportunities, quality management, and PSEA/SH standards • Additional language skills such as Spanish, French, Arabic, Urdu, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, or Punjabi are desirable
