📋 Description

• Take overall responsibility for site leadership where a service is without permanent management • Provide full responsibility for leadership of people, resources and operations at temporarily unmanaged services • Maintain the highest standards of care and service in line with regulatory, contractual and company requirements • Provide targeted operational support to established site leadership teams • Drive quality improvements • Support business development initiatives • Enhance financial performance across existing and newly established services • Ensure legal, statutory, regulatory and commissioning requirements are met • Maintain service user documentation and records and provide meaningful activities for residents • Develop effective working relationships with senior management, peers and functional colleagues • Ensure appropriate staffing, recruitment, rostering, induction, training, motivation and support • Lead implementation of new services, drive referrals and admissions, and share best practice • Achieve agreed budgets by maximising income and managing staffing and other costs • Support Home Managers with day-to-day operations, quality management, health and safety, legal and regulatory requirements, environmental policies and duty of care • Cover Priory Adult Care’s North Region, including Scotland, Northern Ireland and the North of England

🎯 Requirements

• Registered Manager with significant previous social care leadership experience • Detailed knowledge of regulatory and statutory requirements associated with social care • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a matrix organisation • Ability to deliver continuous improvement via coaching, mentoring and strong leadership skills • Demonstrable understanding of key business activities associated with leading a care home, specialist service or supported living operation • Extensive travel and overnight stays required • Flexibility to be based at a site full time for an undefined period and stay away from home throughout the week • May be deployed to any site nationwide as required
