📋 Description

• Set the technical direction, architecture, and standards for the new Experience squad • Build and own the squad's API v3 service boundaries • Establish shared identity, permissions, navigation, SSO, and tenancy models across product areas • Build and maintain a commercially important demo environment • Integrate IFS Intelligence and IFS Cloud, including Project Oliver's embedding path • Define agent placement, guardrails, observability, and cost controls for safe agentic behaviour • Act as the squad's technical voice to the VP Product and Chief Architect • Remain hands-on across backend and fullstack engineering • Review React and Django implementations • Produce a written technical approach used by engineering as a reference • Ship observable, cost-controlled API v3 surfaces, SSO, and cross-product permissions • Enforce code review and no-direct-to-production practices • Raise the engineering standards of squad members

🎯 Requirements

• Around eight years or more building and running production software • Real depth in Python/Django REST API design, data modelling, and service reliability • Experience setting technical direction for a team • Strong performance, cost, and observability skills • Experience owning on-call/pager responsibilities • Comfortable working in React and raising frontend standards • Experience with code review, pairing, and feedback • Daily practical use of Cursor and Claude • Ability to provide context to AI agents and evaluate their output • Multi-tenant enterprise SaaS, SSO/identity, or ERP integration experience (nice to have) • LLM agent orchestration, RAG, or production evaluations experience (nice to have) • Experience shipping agents into products (nice to have) • Simulation or scenario modelling experience (nice to have) • Experience with BigQuery, dbt, Pub/Sub, GCP, Kubernetes, or Terraform (nice to have) • Logistics, supply chain, or freight experience (nice to have)
