📋 Description

• Manage the lifecycle of AWS RDS, including provisioning, monitoring, patching, and decommissioning. • Work with AWS Aurora, RedShift, PostgreSQL (main) Oracle (secondary), and other database technologies to support business-critical applications. • Lead database migration projects and implement authorization management using IAM tools. • Analyze and optimize execution plans and queries to improve performance and efficiency. • Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Crossplane. • Design, configure, and manage CI/CD pipelines for database and infrastructure deployments. • Set up and maintain monitoring solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and integrate alerts with Microsoft Teams. • Manage logging infrastructure using ELK Stack and AWS CloudWatch. • Oversee backend storage management, ensuring scalability and cost-efficiency. • Develop and implement disaster recovery and high availability strategies. • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for incidents and implement long-term fixes. • Create and maintain handbooks, runbooks, and technical documentation. • Support incident resolution and assist teams in epic creation and problem-solving. • Perform operational tasks, including incident handling and on-call support as needed.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience with AWS RDS, Aurora, RedShift, and PostgreSQL databases. • Strong knowledge of IAM, Terraform, Crossplane, and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab). • Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch). • Solid understanding of backend storage, disaster recovery, and high availability principles. • Excellent problem-solving skills and experience with RCA investigations. • Strong communication skills and ability to create clear documentation. • Experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering environment is highly desirable.
