📋 Description

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive callouts, and emergency breakdown repairs on commercial refrigeration equipment • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in refrigeration systems • Perform installation and commissioning of new refrigeration equipment and systems • Ensure compliance with F-Gas regulations, health and safety standards, and company procedures • Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation via digital job management systems • Provide customer service on-site, liaising with clients, store managers, and head office contacts to ensure clear communication and timely updates • Participate in an on-call rota to support emergency breakdowns outside standard working hours • Maintain the company vehicle, tools, and equipment in good working condition

🎯 Requirements

• F-Gas certification (Category 1) – essential • NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning • Knowledge of CO₂ refrigeration systems (transcritical/subcritical) • Full UK driving licence • Minimum 3 years' experience in commercial refrigeration • Experience with retail refrigeration systems preferred • Familiarity with major refrigeration brands (SCM, Hussmann, AHT, etc.)
