📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of cooling towers, domestic water systems, irrigation systems, and decorative water features • Identify hazards including Legionella bacteria, chemical contamination, equipment failures, and regulatory non-compliance • Evaluate the likelihood and potential impact of water-system risks • Ensure water treatment programs comply with EPA standards, OSHA requirements, and industry-specific guidelines • Stay current with water quality regulations and industry best practices • Prepare documentation and reports for regulatory audits and inspections • Review water quality testing results and treatment program data • Identify trends or anomalies and recommend corrective actions • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and control measures • Create water safety plans and emergency response procedures • Recommend equipment upgrades, treatment modifications, or operational changes • Prepare risk assessment reports for clients and stakeholders • Present findings and recommendations to facility management teams • Provide training and guidance on water safety management practices • Collaborate with water treatment technicians, facility engineers, environmental health and safety teams, client representatives, external laboratories, consultants, and regulatory agencies

🎯 Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in water treatment, facility management, environmental health and safety, or a related field • Experience conducting risk assessments or audits preferred • Understanding of water chemistry • Knowledge of microbiology, particularly Legionella control • Knowledge of water treatment technologies and HVAC systems • Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and regulatory frameworks • Relevant certifications such as Certified Water Technologist (CWT), Certified Legionella Professional (CLP), or similar credentials highly desirable • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Excellent written and verbal communication • Attention to detail • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
