📋 Description

• Own invoicing, payables, and collections end-to-end • Convert contracts into accurate invoices with minimal rework or back-and-forth with Sales and Customer Success • Ensure customers pay on time and suppliers are paid accurately across UK and US entities • Maintain an up-to-date view of amounts owed in and out • Improve Days Sales Outstanding over time • Support month-end through accurate and timely reconciliations • Flag escalations early • Contribute to month-end, revenue review, and statutory reporting • Support preparation of statutory accounts, audit requests, and VAT returns • Maintain controlled, audit-ready processes for supplier onboarding, bank detail checks, and payment run approvals • Improve and automate processes in Rillet and Ramp • Work closely with the Financial Controller and Interim Finance Director

🎯 Requirements

• Located in the UK • Long-term working rights in the UK without visa sponsorship • Experience with both accounts receivable and accounts payable, including raising invoices, handling billing queries, chasing payments, or paying suppliers • Experience serving as the main point of contact for customers or suppliers on billing and payments • Ability to manage overdue balances while maintaining relationships • Experience keeping Sales, Customer Success, and budget holders informed • Experience supporting month-end, including bank or ledger reconciliations • Day-to-day experience with finance systems such as NetSuite, Rillet, Xero, Ramp, or similar • Ability to learn new tools quickly • Ability to read contracts and determine what and when should be invoiced • Ability to identify and improve repetitive manual work using spreadsheets, automation, or AI • Experience with SaaS contracts or subscription billing is a bonus • Experience with VAT returns, US sales tax, revenue reporting, or audit requests is a bonus • Experience in a multi-entity UK/US business with multi-currency invoicing is a bonus
