📋 Description

• Report to the VP of Engineering • Lead, manage, and support a remote-first full-stack engineering team of up to 8 engineers • Hire, coach, mentor, provide feedback, and support hands-on career development • Nurture a collaborative engineering culture valuing feedback, craft, and quality • Guide high-integrity technical decisions and sustainable architecture development • Evolve near- and long-term engineering strategy • Lead outcomes for reliability, observability, developer experience, continuous integration, data and ML tooling, and infrastructure cost management • Improve agile practices, delivery cadence, ways of working, and learning approaches • Enable sustainable and timely delivery of technical solutions with cross-functional peers • Provide context, support, and guidance to drive business outcomes • Engage with the VP of Engineering and broader leadership team on engineering growth and strategy • Help deliver digital mental health services for young people aged 13–25

🎯 Requirements

• Experienced Engineering Manager with a proven track record of attracting and retaining great talent • Successfully led and managed healthy full-stack engineering teams in a remote environment • Experience collaborating across geographies and timezones • Servant leadership approach focused on team success, individual growth, and learning from failure • Fluency in modern software development, quality, and reliability practices • Ability to guide engineers toward positive technical outcomes • Data-informed, learning-driven iteration experience • Deep toolbox of agile and lean delivery experience • Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners to lead high-profile, consumer-facing projects to timely execution and delivery • Must be UK based • Successful completion of a DBS check
