📋 Description

• Run technical discovery with prospective customers alongside sales and the Partner Solutions Lead • Map customer architecture, constraints, and compliance needs to Payward Services products including Embed, Ramp, Earn, xStocks, and CF Benchmarks • Surface recurring customer requests and product gaps to the Solutions Architect to inform the roadmap • Design tailored solutions using existing offerings, customizations, bespoke integrations, or direct work in customer codebases • Scope and build proof-of-concepts to demonstrate technical feasibility and win deals • Own structured handoffs to the Implementation team, including PoCs, solution design documents, and knowledge-transfer sessions • Execute and improve pre-sales playbooks, discovery frameworks, solution templates, PoC standards, and handoff runbooks • Partner with the Solutions Architect, sales team, and Implementation Manager while running deals end-to-end

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years in a technical pre-sales role (solutions engineering or solutions architecture) at a B2B API or infrastructure company • Proven track record executing technical pre-sales: discovery, solution design, proof-of-concept delivery, and deal-winning • Fluency with REST/WebSocket APIs, OAuth, JWT, webhook architecture, and integration debugging • Experience designing and building complex integrations for technical buyers at fintechs, banks, or neobanks, including customizations and bespoke work • Strong knowledge transfer skills for implementation teams • Ability to run discovery calls, design reviews, and handoff debriefs • Experience writing RFPs and documenting solution approaches • Nice to have: crypto domain knowledge, embedded finance or crypto-as-a-service experience, Coast experience, and hands-on experience with Claude Code or Cursor • Applicants must select the country and city from which they will work • Applicants must disclose whether they need work sponsorship
