📋 Description

• Build sophisticated event-driven microservices for M-KOPA Mobility’s e-mobility financing platform • Own solutions end-to-end, from architecture decisions through production monitoring and decommissioning • Develop cutting-edge .NET backend systems supporting clean, affordable transport across Africa • Work collaboratively within engineering teams, with senior members coaching and contributing • Maintain high-quality output, observability and monitoring, automated testing, infrastructure as code, and DevOps practices • Support technology enabling digital and financial inclusion

🎯 Requirements

• Strong grasp of C# .NET development • Experience with event-driven systems, including Service Bus or similar messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ • Microservices architecture experience • Experience with Azure or other major cloud providers such as AWS or GCP • Familiarity with containerisation and orchestration tools, including Kubernetes and Docker • Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana • Testing and deployment expertise • DevOps culture mindset • Experience working with AI coding tools, ideally Claude Code or similar • Comfortable working as part of a team owning the entire software stack and supporting infrastructure throughout the software lifecycle • Willingness to embrace continuous delivery, testing, observability, infrastructure as code, and DevOps practices
