📋 Description

• Prepare statutory accounts and support year-end reporting • Run and support month-end close and financial reporting • Prepare VAT returns and support other tax and regulatory reporting • Manage accounting and reporting across multiple UK legal entities • Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, journals and supporting analysis • Support interim and year-end external audits • Maintain robust financial controls and supporting documentation • Support system testing, reconciliations and transition activity where needed

🎯 Requirements

• Strong, hands-on financial accounting experience • Experience preparing statutory accounts and VAT returns • Experience working within an international business, ideally a listed/PLC environment • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification/part-qualification, or equivalent experience • Solid understanding of balance sheets, reconciliations and financial controls • Strong Excel skills • Ability to pick up systems and processes quickly • IFS experience advantageous but not essential • Confidence to work independently, ask sensible questions and get stuck in
