📋 Description

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with key clients, ensuring delivery aligns with their strategic priorities • Serve as the senior escalation point for client engagement or delivery issues • Communicate between senior leadership, delivery teams, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment • Monitor client satisfaction and support retention and advocacy • Promote collaboration across teams to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery • Lead adoption of best-practice delivery frameworks across engagements • Translate business goals into actionable delivery plans with measurable outcomes • Track performance and identify areas for continuous improvement using data and feedback • Maintain and evolve delivery processes, tools, and templates • Oversee project health, timelines, budgets, quality standards, risks, issues, and dependencies • Maintain project governance, risk logs, quality checks, action tracking, and transparent reporting • Balance staff utilisation and workload planning • Develop and expand project management service offerings integrating AI and data-driven insights • Define governance, frameworks, and metrics for consistent delivery quality • Lead innovation programs for AI-enabled project management tools and practices • Monitor industry trends and recommend strategic investments • Oversee revenue growth, profitability, utilisation, budgets, forecasts, cost controls, proposals, bids, and statements of work • Review project financials, analyse variances, and implement corrective actions • Drive continuous improvement and adoption of emerging tools and technologies • Lead talent development through mentoring, training, career progression, recruitment, performance reviews, and resource allocation • Contribute to the Senior Leadership Team and own key initiatives • Oversee delivery success, utilisation, customer satisfaction, innovation, service offerings, team growth, and sales contribution

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 8 years in senior roles overseeing complex project portfolios within Data, AI, or Technology services • Experience owning P&L or practice budgets exceeding £10M • Evidence of improving profitability, utilisation, or cost efficiency by at least 10% • Experience building senior client relationships and achieving account growth of at least 20% • Formal certification or advanced application of Agile, PMI, PRINCE2, or similar • 90%+ of projects delivered on time and to budget • Experience establishing and managing PMO functions, ensuring audit compliance and uniform delivery standards • Managed and developed teams of 20+ professionals • Delivered process improvements reducing cycle time or delivery costs by 10% or more • Deep operational knowledge of resource allocation, commercial models, and performance metrics in consulting/professional services • Experience using analytics and metrics to manage delivery performance and report to executives • Ability to anticipate and mitigate delivery risks • Experience developing and launching data, AI, or technology-driven services • Experience leading cross-functional transformation projects impacting multiple teams or regions • Expert communication skills for executive-level forums and briefings and credible representation at Senior Leadership Team level • Experience driving KPIs including margin, client satisfaction (NPS 8/10+), and team utilisation above benchmark targets
