📋 Description

• Support, develop and embed risk and control mechanisms for the business • Independently oversee and challenge effective management of risks and controls • Support design, implementation and ongoing delivery of risk framework and processes • Work with stakeholders to drive compliance with regulatory and policy requirements • Provide risk and control advice • Act as a subject matter expert on compliance and conduct policies for products and services • Partner with Product, Operations, Technology and other functional teams to design and implement compliant solutions and new products or services • Ensure customer and conduct outcomes are delivered through processes and controls for POS Lending, Unsecured Personal Loans or Savings products • Support and evolve risk-based controls frameworks, processes and key risk indicators • Manage regulatory risk and drive change or remediation activities • Support resolution of ad-hoc events and incidents exposing the business to unanticipated risk • Interface with wider NatWest stakeholders and senior risk colleagues on risk-driven priorities, policies and processes • Develop and embed Risk MI, maintain an up-to-date RAID log, and escalate issues appropriately

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in a compliance, conduct or risk management role or similar relevant experience • Knowledge of the regulatory environment and its frameworks • Ideally experience interpreting regulatory rules and regulations such as BCOBs, Consumer Credit Act, and Consumer Duty • Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment • Experience working with product and functional business teams to deliver new capabilities • Proven ability to problem solve with product and functional teams to deliver innovative compliant solutions • Ability to convey complex information and ideas clearly to stakeholders • Ability to embed product policy, processes and controls balancing regulatory compliance and commerciality • Confidence to influence and challenge senior risk stakeholders • Experience working in a customer experience and/or customer design-led thinking environment • Evidence of supporting development of Lending and/or Savings products • External understanding of regulation applicable to Lending and/or Savings products
