📋 Description

• Apply effective risk management and decision-making capability to anticipate and assess technology-related risk impacts across relevant business areas • Evaluate, manage, and mitigate the operational risk and control impacts of strategic technology and digitisation initiatives • Engage with specialist technology stakeholders, including second and third lines of defence • Support framework execution as a Technology Risk and Control expert, including risk and controls assessments, control design and articulation, control testing, and policy compliance • Lead discussions of technology and digital-related risk for relevant business areas and products • Create a culture of continuous improvement through people leadership, coaching, engagement, and skills development • Produce corporate governance and risk committee packs for technology functions • Formulate and articulate technology-related risk appetite using the operational risk framework and material risk measures • Manage stakeholder relationships with technology and digital specialists • Provide an aggregated view of the control environment for relevant technology and digital business areas • Support interactions with second and third lines of defence on risk and audit engagements • Produce and review risk committee packs relating to digital channels, including MI and aggregated risk profile assessments • Provide challenge and oversight against risk appetite across technology disruption, information security, operational resilience, change, and external outsourcing • Guide stakeholders on key controls, control articulation, remediation plans, and alignment of controls and issues to technology-owned risks and assessments • Identify and drive opportunities to simplify or automate controls, improving efficiency and reducing control-operation costs

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive understanding of the relevant businesses, key products, and technology risks • Knowledge of technology risks and controls, including industry frameworks such as COBIT and CRISC or similar • Knowledge of technology outsourcing risks • Proven ability to deliver high-quality outcomes • Experience applying technology and digital risk and control assessments in operational and strategic contexts • Comprehensive experience in technology risk management and audit or control frameworks • Experience working in a fast-paced technology risk or audit environment with rapidly shifting priorities • Experience with corporate governance and risk committees • Experience formulating and articulating technology and digital-related risk profiles using an operational risk framework and material risk measures • Excellent ability to communicate complex ideas and solutions for risk management • Strong senior stakeholder management skills, including challenging and influencing senior stakeholders through analysis and evidence-based recommendations • Strong technical and data analytics capabilities • Experience designing or building automated control solutions and MI dashboards • 35 working hours
