📋 Description

• Provide fast, high-quality, proactive internal IT support to the whole team • Maintain hardware, software, connectivity, security, and fitness for purpose across the team • Work alongside Oxygen House to maintain infrastructure, security, and compliance • Manage joiners, movers, and leavers, including accounts, access, and devices • Maintain the asset register, software and licence records, and access documentation • Support team members in accessing and effectively using AI tools • Train and coach colleagues to build AI confidence and mastery • Identify and implement practical AI productivity improvements • Support safe AI use, acceptable-use guidance, and data-handling practices • Monitor AI and technology developments and bring actionable insights to the organisation • Identify and recommend technology improvements • Maintain and improve IT documentation, processes, and systems • Work within the People and Performance team as the primary internal IT contact • Collaborate with Oxygen House, the organisation’s IT partner, while building greater internal independence

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on experience administering a Microsoft 365 environment, including users, licences, and permissions • Working understanding of account and access management • Practical experience setting up, securing, and supporting laptops and mobile devices for remote workers • Strong knowledge of IT fundamentals, hardware, software, and connectivity • Genuine enthusiasm for AI tools and willingness to explore practical day-to-day applications • Initiative to solve small problems quickly and escalate larger issues with appropriate context • Comfortable with variety and a busy, changeable environment • Ability to move quickly, communicate clearly, and know when to ask for help • Strong communication skills with people of all technical backgrounds • Ability to build trust, take ownership, and follow through on commitments • Genuine passion for the natural world and conviction that scaling conservation is important • Willingness to travel to OC offices and estates for team events and meetings approximately once per month
