📋 Description

• Own a core area of the Pencil editing platform end-to-end, from problem framing and concept exploration to final UI and shipped product • Partner with Product and Engineering to define and rapidly ship features that increase content generations and exports • Design production-ready interfaces for editing tools focused on speed and usability • Expand creation tools across ads, images, video, email, display, and other formats • Design and improve AI-powered editing workflows that are clear, usable, and trustworthy • Work with engineers during implementation, review builds, and iterate until quality standards are met • Conduct user research to identify problems, validate solutions, and improve usability and clarity • Use and contribute to the design system, evolving patterns, components, and foundations

🎯 Requirements

• Must have 5+ years of experience designing digital products, within SaaS or complex, workflow-driven editing and creation tools • A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product thinking with a focus on speed, creation, and impact on output • Builder mindset with a deep obsession for creating tools that help users produce content faster • Deep craft sensibility and solid interaction and visual design skills • Proven ability to work autonomously and demonstrate strong product intuition • High iteration tolerance and comfort with a "build and see what sticks" mode • Strong experience working closely with engineers and ability to keep up with a large, fast-moving engineering team • Highly proficient in Figma • AI curiosity and comfort designing for AI-powered systems • Legal right to work and remain in the country in which the candidate intends to work from
