📋 Description

• Spend approximately 80% of the time designing, coding and shipping production features • Write, review, refactor and ship production code using React, TypeScript and JavaScript • Design and build sophisticated user interfaces for large datasets, including filtering, visualisation and complex configuration • Own engineering tasks and features from technical design through implementation, testing and deployment • Solve frontend performance, scalability, state-management and user-experience challenges • Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, debugging and architectural decisions • Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Tech Leads and Software Engineers • Contribute to AI-powered product experiences and use modern development tools • Coach and mentor engineers • Hold regular 1:1 meetings with direct reports • Provide constructive feedback and support individual development plans • Help engineers establish goals and understand progression skills • Support performance reviews and development discussions • Work with Tech Leads on engineers’ technical contributions and development needs • Foster a collaborative engineering culture • Initially contribute as a Senior Engineer before gradually taking on direct reports

🎯 Requirements

• Substantial professional software-engineering experience • Strong Senior Engineer-level technical ability • Current hands-on production coding experience • Strong frontend development experience with React, TypeScript and JavaScript • Experience building complex, scalable applications, ideally in B2B SaaS, enterprise software, analytics or data-intensive environments • Experience coaching, mentoring or supporting other engineers through code reviews, pairing, technical discussions or structured feedback • Interest in or experience with 1:1s, career development and people-management responsibilities • Ability to solve complex technical challenges independently while collaborating with others • Commitment to product quality, engineering standards and meaningful customer value • Fluent English; French is not required • Technical screen including a 15-minute code refactoring exercise • Live algorithmic coding interview • System design interview • Previous formal people-management experience is a plus, but not a requirement
