📋 Description

• Recruit, support and manage a team of software engineers • Help the team deliver high-quality products by addressing problems and providing support • Lead by example in engineering work and encourage good working practices • Design, develop, deploy and maintain software products • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to identify requirements and develop technical solutions • Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and improve code quality • Troubleshoot complex issues using log analysis, profiling tools, and collaborative debugging techniques • Contribute to documentation and decisions on team processes and tools • Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines for automated testing, build, and deployment processes

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in recruiting, coaching and mentoring software engineers • Deep knowledge of modern software development practices, including agile development, continuous delivery, automated testing, security, and observability • Experience using engineering metrics to understand and improve software quality and team delivery • Able to help your team through ambiguity • Ability to build strong relationships with business stakeholders • Proficient in writing high-quality, readable, secure, and maintainable code • Strong understanding of computer science concepts, data structures, and algorithms • Strong knowledge of testing principles and practices; experience writing and automating tests • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure • Knowledge of observability practices, including logging, metrics, and tracing, and monitoring tools • Understanding of security best practices and secure coding principles
