📋 Description

• Deliver technical consulting to customers and partners across various industries • Evaluate client business, process, systems, and technology requirements and advise on best practices • Assess current problem states, establish desired future states, and recommend solutions • Participate in solution design, implementation, and delivery of Ping Identity IAM products • Install, deploy, and configure Ping Identity solutions • Collaborate with internal Ping teams on escalated customer issues • Participate in services pre-sales, including effort sizing, best-practice presentations, and feasibility studies • Develop technical consulting materials, best-practice resources, report templates, delivery guides, and knowledge-base articles • Help partners align architectures with Ping best practices • Mentor and assist internal and external technical resources • Lead technical delivery from discovery and design through implementation, testing, production readiness, and handover • Design and validate secure, scalable, highly available IAM deployments across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments • Troubleshoot complex implementation and production issues using logs, traces, configurations, and network behaviour • Work with Support and Product Engineering to drive issue resolution • Define and execute integration, end-to-end, performance, and resilience testing • Support cutover and go-live planning • Produce implementation documentation, runbooks, and knowledge-transfer materials • Balance security controls with seamless user experiences in identity journeys and recommendations • Report to the Director of Professional Services

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working in a consulting capacity, including a minimum of 2 years directly in Identity and Access Management within a large organization or enterprise • Consulting background in Identity and Access Management, including practical System Integration and Implementation experience • Capability-maturity approach to IAM deployments • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, OAuth 2.0, SAML 2.0, OIDC, LDAP, and data stores • Experience with Java, JavaScript, Groovy, HTML, and CSS • Experience estimating and sizing projects • Self-motivated, organized, able to work unaccompanied, and manage communications appropriately • Bachelor of Science in a related field or equivalent work-related level of experience • Availability to travel up to 50% of the time • Outstanding cross-functional cooperation skills, particularly with Go-To-Market units • Excellent verbal and written communication • Practical experience integrating IAM platforms with enterprise directories, applications, APIs, and identity systems, including federation, authentication, and user lifecycle or provisioning flows • Experience with SCIM, HTTP/REST APIs, FIDO, OAuth 2.0, SAML 2.0, OIDC, LDAP, and common directory and federation patterns • Experience designing or delivering IAM solutions in cloud, hybrid, or on-premises environments • Strong diagnostic skills across application, identity, and network layers, using logs and traces to resolve integration issues • Experience planning and conducting technical testing, production cutovers, and transition to customer or partner operations • Ability to facilitate technical discovery and design workshops and explain trade-offs clearly • Experience with structured delivery practices, including technical risks, dependencies, decisions, and changes • Computer and Software Security certifications are advantageous • ForgeRock or Ping training badges/certifications are advantageous • DevOps best practices, deployment automation tools, CI/CD, Docker, Terraform, and Kubernetes are advantageous • Experience with Ping Identity products and architectures is advantageous • Experience with identity governance, privileged access, customer identity, or workforce identity use cases is advantageous • Familiarity with observability and operational tooling is advantageous • Experience with source control, infrastructure-as-code, configuration management, and automated testing is advantageous • Experience migrating identity services, applications, or user populations from legacy platforms is advantageous
