📋 Description

• Set and drive front-end technical strategy across the Account Experience teams • Own the architecture of a complex, data-dense merchant platform, including patterns, state management, and performance characteristics • Shape the maturation of Primer AI Companion as a first-class merchant interface • Maintain a coherent experience across Account Setup, Monitors, Workflows, and Auditing • Build shared component and design-system foundations • Lead engineers across teams through code, design reviews, and technical mentorship • Own accessibility, performance budgets, and front-end observability • Partner with Product, Design, and backend engineers to shape technical decisions • Own work from design through production under a "you build it, you own it" model

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrable experience operating at staff or principal level • Experience setting front-end technical direction across multiple teams • Deep front-end engineering expertise with TypeScript and React • Track record architecting complex, long-lived web applications • Fluency in state management at scale, performance, accessibility, and component-system design • Strong technical judgment and ability to earn engineering trust • Comfort reasoning about APIs and services and partnering with backend engineers • Strong written and verbal communication • Comfort working in payments, fintech, or platform contexts is welcome
