📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive autism assessments with children and young people. • Contribute to diagnostic decision-making. • Write clinical reports. • Provide feedback to families. • Participate in regular clinical and management supervision. • Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions. • Manage an independent clinical workload within a remote service.

🎯 Requirements

• Current HCPC or Social Work England registration with no restrictions on practice. • Experience working clinically with children and young people. • 12 months experience within autism assessment and/or neurodevelopmental services. • Training and practical experience using ADOS-2. • Experience producing high-quality clinical reports. • Good knowledge of safeguarding and risk management. • Confidence working independently and managing your own clinical workload. • The ability to work effectively within a remote service. • Experienced or trained in ADI-R (desirable). • Previous experience delivering assessments remotely (desirable). • Experience working across neurodevelopmental pathways (desirable). • Knowledge of co-occurring presentations and differential diagnosis (desirable). • Understanding of NICE guidance surrounding autism assessment and diagnosis (desirable).
