📋 Description

• Help qualify and close opportunities with customers and partners • Provide technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations, and technical evaluations • Work alongside the sales team to introduce Redpanda to potential customers • Lead product and solution briefings • Build proof-of-concepts (POCs) • Run live product demos • Prototype Redpanda integrations • Partner with product management, engineering, and support teams to solve customer challenges and improve customer experience • Identify customers' key technical objections • Develop strategies to address blockers to adoption

🎯 Requirements

• 3–8+ years of experience leading presentations, collecting requirements, developing solution architectures, and teaching prospective users or project teams to use similar software • Comfortable developing and prototyping solutions in Java, Python, Go, and JavaScript • Strong understanding of modern infrastructure and streaming technologies; Kafka ecosystem preferred • Strong ability to build relationships with partners, customers, and open-source users • Experience demonstrating technical concepts, including presenting and whiteboarding • Collaborative spirit and customer-feedback orientation • Flexibility to travel to meet customers, attend events, or conferences • Comfortable with Linux and Kubernetes • Proficient with one or more of AWS, GCP, and Azure • Application form asks whether the candidate has 5+ years in a customer-facing engineering role • Application form asks about experience with Kafka, Pulsar, Pub/Sub, distributed data systems or databases, Kubernetes and/or Linux • Application form asks about experience at a rapid-growth pre-IPO software company in the past five years • Must be currently based in the United Kingdom
