📋 Description

• Support application infrastructure to optimize platform performance and reliability • Build and maintain supporting infrastructure for cloud environments and applications • Use Azure resources to implement scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient services • Collaborate with engineers and guide critical projects using subject matter expertise • Perform and automate system administration, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and disaster recovery • Identify system-level issues related to OS configuration and virtual hardware bottlenecks • Develop automation, auditing, and tooling for security, compliance, and resource usage • Monitor and improve deployment processes • Own operational excellence and establish and maintain business-focused KPIs • Use metrics to drive positive transformation and demonstrate team success

🎯 Requirements

• Strong problem-solving skills • Ability to communicate effectively with multiple disciplines • Solid foundation in either IT or Software Engineering • Experience creating CI/CD pipelines and automating SaaS solutions in Azure • Strong automation skills with scripting languages and Terraform, ARM, etc. • Ability to build and optimize cloud-based networks, including VNets and Application Gateways • Familiarity and experience integrating third-party tools such as SonarCloud • Ability to build environments from the ground up, including Windows, Linux, SQL, Redis, and WebApps • Experience with containerization • Preferred: Kubernetes or other orchestration tools • Preferred: Azure API Management or similar • Preferred: NewRelic scripted monitors • Preferred: Security tools, including CheckPoint, and security best practices • Preferred: Hadoop, Kafka, Presto, or similar BI/Big Data technology
