📋 Description

• Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a key product area spanning fuel cost optimization, fleet efficiency, energy management, or operational cost intelligence • Translate operational data such as telematics, fuel consumption, idling, routing, and vehicle health into cost-reduction and fleet-performance products • Conduct discovery with fleet owners, fuel managers, operations leaders, and finance teams • Prototype and design MVPs, clickable flows, working demos, and AI-assisted concepts to test with customers • Ship end-to-end experiences with design, engineering, and data science, including backend pipelines, partner integrations, dashboards, and mobile surfaces • Define success metrics, build business cases, and drive experimentation and iteration based on data and customer feedback • Champion and embed Samsara’s cultural principles as the company scales globally

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in product management • Track record of shipping products used by real customers at scale • Experience designing, prototyping, or building a product and driving a cross-functional launch end to end • Hands-on data skills, including defining measurement approaches and meaningful KPIs • Strong customer-research instincts and ability to turn insights into product strategy • Excellent communication skills and ability to align engineering, marketing, legal, and go-to-market stakeholders • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience • Experience with partnerships, integrations, or external data is advantageous • Domain experience in fuel/energy, fleet management, fintech/payments, logistics, or electric vehicles is advantageous • Experience shipping AI- or ML-powered features is advantageous
