📋 Description

• Co-own day-to-day operation, triage, and tuning of Samsara’s endpoint security environment • Respond to escalations, investigate anomalies, and resolve issues • Improve endpoint visibility tools and workflows with the Security Operations team using usage patterns and incident learnings • Write documentation and runbooks for enterprise security workflows • Collaborate with Engineering, IT, and Security on implementation of security tools and policies • Assist Security Operations during security investigations as a technical subject matter expert • Partner with engineering teams to triage and support remediation of vulnerabilities and misconfigurations • Mentor Security team engineers on domain knowledge, tool-specific skills, and communication • Champion and embed Samsara cultural principles • Participate in the highest-severity incident on-call rotation one week out of every ten • Maintain and evolve a modern zero trust program, including policy design and real-time escalation triage • Operate production security systems for long-term success and automate repetitive work

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in an Enterprise Security role with demonstrated impact • Hands-on experience operating and maintaining endpoint security and visibility tools at enterprise scale, such as CrowdStrike, osquery, or similar • Exposure to at least one additional enterprise security tool stack beyond endpoint security, such as SASE, zero trust systems, email security, DLP, or IAM • Experience scripting and debugging code with Python, with or without AI assistance • Experience using SOAR platforms • Strong familiarity with common security challenges and ability to independently evaluate severity and business impact • Track record of delivering impactful work across multiple quarters and collaborating effectively across teams • Must reside in the United Kingdom • Legal right to work at the company and in the specified work location • Ideal: breadth across endpoint security ecosystem, layered EDR controls, passive telemetry, threat intelligence integrations, cloud and containerized environments • Ideal: experience with CrowdStrike, Mimecast, Incydr, and Splunk • Ideal: experience with Terraform infrastructure-as-code deployments • Ideal: experience with AI-driven automations
