📋 Description

• Design, develop and maintain high-quality Power BI dashboards, reports and KPI scorecards supporting operational and strategic decision-making • Deliver trusted, timely and actionable insights for stakeholders across the business • Develop and maintain scalable data models using best-practice dimensional modelling techniques • Create and optimise DAX measures, KPIs and analytical calculations • Write and optimise SQL queries for reporting, analytics and data validation • Work with Data Engineers to support and develop reporting solutions within Microsoft Fabric and other data platforms • Use Python and other analytical tools to automate processes, enhance reporting and deliver deeper analytical insights • Apply advanced analytical techniques to identify trends, risks, opportunities and performance improvement initiatives • Partner with stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate requirements into data-driven solutions • Champion best practice in reporting, data quality and analytics while supporting continuous improvement across the organisation

🎯 Requirements

• Significant experience in a Data Analyst, Senior Data Analyst, BI Analyst or similar analytics role • Advanced Power BI development experience • Strong expertise in DAX development and optimisation • Strong understanding of dimensional modelling, star schemas and data warehousing concepts • Advanced SQL skills with experience querying large and complex datasets • Experience using Python for analysis, automation and data manipulation • Experience developing and maintaining enterprise-scale reporting solutions • Strong analytical, statistical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills • Experience delivering measurable business value through data and analytics • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and vulnerable adults, including the requirements of the Prevent Duty and positive promotion of modern British values • May be required to process a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, dependent on the role
