📋 Description

• Own a territory: Build and execute a territory plan spanning EMEA and APAC, identifying and developing new business opportunities while growing and retaining existing client accounts. • Exceed targets: Meet and surpass assigned quotas through disciplined prospecting, qualification, and full-cycle deal execution. • Build lasting relationships: Develop strong, long-term relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders across the weather, climate, and earth intelligence ecosystem — understanding their needs, challenges, and objectives to tailor solutions accordingly. • Sell consultatively: Use a solution-selling approach to uncover clients’ operational pain points and propose tailored offerings built on Spire’s weather forecasts, historical data, and climate analytics. • Master the product: Develop deep expertise in Spire’s data products and platforms — their features, differentiation, and applications — to communicate compelling value to technical and executive audiences alike. • Deliver winning proposals: Prepare and present persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and responses to tenders that clearly articulate Spire’s value proposition. • Negotiate and close: Lead commercial negotiations on terms and pricing to reach mutually beneficial agreements and close deals reliably. • Manage your pipeline: Maintain an accurate, up-to-date pipeline in our CRM, ensuring rigorous forecasting and timely follow-up on every lead and opportunity. • Know the market: Track industry trends, competitive movements, and emerging opportunities across your regions to inform strategy and identify new areas for growth. • Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with marketing, product, meteorology, and customer success teams to ensure client satisfaction and feed market insight back into product development.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management, with a focus on selling data products, SaaS, or API-based solutions. • A demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas. • Strong understanding of the weather and climate industry, or deep experience selling digital transformation into data-driven sectors such as energy, maritime, aviation, agriculture, or logistics. • A consultative, value-based selling style with excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. • Proven ability to build and maintain trusted client relationships across cultures, time zones, and seniority levels. • Proficiency with modern sales tools (e.g., Salesforce or similar CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Lusha). • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and effective working independently in a remote, globally distributed team. • Fluent in English; willingness to travel across the territory as needed. • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, preferably in a high-tech field.
