📋 Description

• Collaborate with key Financial Partners throughout North America, Europe, and APAC to develop and deliver stablecoin product solutions • Lead activities enhancing risk and compliance management interactions between Stripe and its partners • Manage key aspects of partner relationships and execute high-impact initiatives • Coordinate with product, engineering, Risk, Fraud, Financial Crime, Compliance, Operations, Legal, and Finance stakeholders • Work with partners’ Risk and Compliance teams, including senior management • Lead risk-focused initiatives with banks, networks, and payment methods to build business opportunities and user verticals • Develop shared risk and compliance methodologies and maintain agreed risk appetites • Oversee relationships with partner risk, financial crime, and compliance counterparts • Develop and manage risk-related partnership projects and initiatives • Deliver business and policy recommendations informing Stripe’s risk posture • Represent and negotiate Stripe’s risk and compliance approach with banking partners • Enhance and develop partner-facing risk management capabilities • Lead risk and compliance partnership and product discussions • Identify and pursue business opportunities through risk-aware banking partnership solutions • Advocate for users in interactions with Financial Partners

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years experience in risk, fraud, financial crime, or compliance-related role at a bank, fintech, exchange, wallets, on-ramping and off-ramping, or custodians, with experience working with financial partners and the wider ecosystem • A deep knowledge of risk and compliance topics for related crypto and stablecoin products • Ability to represent Stripe on risk, compliance, financial crime, and product with financial partners to maintain positive relationships • Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills (written and verbal) • Curiosity and a partnership mindset focused on improving processes and scaling solutions • Strong stakeholder management skills, including navigating difficult situations, negotiating timelines, and influencing stakeholders across organizations and borders • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to thrive in uncertain and ambiguous environments • Ability to drive clarity, plans, and deliver against timelines and commitments in high-stakes situations with competing priorities • Preferred: Experience with financial crime programs including KYC/B, AML, Sanctions, and Terrorist Financing, with practical knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering regulations • Preferred: Strong understanding of complex risks and compliance requirements for payment orchestration, on-ramps and off-ramps, storage, and money movement relating to stablecoins • Preferred: Market experience across North America and EMEA and understanding of current and future regulations affecting Stripe and its financial partners • Preferred: Experience using technology to develop and embed scalable risk and operational processes
