📋 Description

• Install, troubleshoot, test, analyze, maintain and repair Syntegon packaging equipment and associated products • Provide technical customer service to minimize downtime and maximize production efficiency • Participate in internal, external and vendor training • Perform assembly, installation, startup, modernization upgrades, commissioning and production support at customer sites • Perform troubleshooting and preventative maintenance at customer sites • Provide Help Line support to customers • Train customers on machinery operation, updates, modifications, maintenance and operational health and safety requirements • Support customer operations with equipment adjustments and settings to optimize performance • Support final machine checkout during Factory Acceptance Tests • Identify and support continuous improvement opportunities • Represent Syntegon professionally and maintain strong customer and colleague relationships • Maintain an organized working environment at company and customer facilities • Travel domestically and internationally

🎯 Requirements

• Must have completed apprenticeship in mechanics, precision mechanics, electrical engineering or mechatronics, or have equivalent experience • At least 3 years of work experience in machinery manufacturing • Minimum 2 years of experience working with PCs and Microsoft Office • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to collaborate with other functions and foster teamwork • Strong problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail • Strong mathematical skills • Ability to adapt to multiple and changing priorities and deadlines • Allen Bradley, Siemens or Beckhoff experience is a plus • Proficient in English language, reading and writing • Additional language skills are a plus • Ability to work in tight quarters and on top of and underneath packaging equipment • Ability to stand, stoop, kneel and bend continuously while working on equipment • Must submit to safety, background and drug/alcohol testing as required by Syntegon or customers • Must wear personal protective equipment as required • Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally
