📋 Description

• Design, build and support enterprise infrastructure across compute, virtualisation, storage and container platforms • Work with VMware vSphere, Nutanix AHV, Microsoft Hyper-V and/or Proxmox VE • Design and support enterprise storage including SAN, NAS, Fibre Channel, iSCSI and NFS • Administer and troubleshoot Linux and Windows Server environments • Deploy and support Kubernetes and containerised workloads • Produce HLDs, LLDs, migration plans, implementation plans and technical documentation • Lead and support infrastructure migrations, upgrades and technology refresh projects • Work directly with customers through discovery sessions, technical workshops and solution design • Collaborate with sales and pre-sales teams on technical solutions and SOWs • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and work with vendors where required • Share knowledge and provide technical guidance to other engineers • Continue developing expertise across AI infrastructure, automation and emerging data centre technologies

🎯 Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience across virtualisation, compute, storage and enterprise infrastructure • Experience with VMware vSphere, Nutanix AHV, Microsoft Hyper-V and/or Proxmox VE • Experience with enterprise storage including SAN, NAS, Fibre Channel, iSCSI and NFS • Experience administering and troubleshooting Linux and Windows Server environments • Experience deploying and supporting Kubernetes and containerised workloads • Experience producing HLDs, LLDs, migration plans, implementation plans and technical documentation • Experience leading or supporting infrastructure migrations, upgrades and technology refresh projects • Experience with customer-facing consultancy and implementation • Experience with infrastructure networking fundamentals • Experience with complex troubleshooting across compute, storage, virtualisation and operating systems • Experience with vSphere/VCF, vSAN, NSX, Nutanix AOS/Prism, HCI, enterprise storage, backup/DR, Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell, Python or public cloud is advantageous • Experience with NVIDIA DGX/HGX, NVIDIA AI Enterprise, GPU Operator, Base Command Manager or AI Factory environments is a bonus, but not essential • Technical curiosity and genuine interest in AI infrastructure • Ability to work directly with customers, take ownership of technical delivery and explain complex concepts to different audiences • Sponsorship question indicates UK work authorization may be relevant
