📋 Description

• Own Senior Staff and Principal engineering roles end to end from sourcing strategy through offer and close • Build proactive, passive-first pipelines for scarce senior engineering talent ahead of demand • Make calibrated hiring-bar decisions on senior, high-stakes roles • Refine role specifications with engineering managers into benchmarked, hireable roles • Act as the trusted day-to-day partner for supported engineering managers • Improve sourcing, assessment, and recruiting processes using evidence • Use AI across sourcing, screening support, and search administration while retaining human judgement for key decisions • Own the on-time closure outcome for assigned roles

🎯 Requirements

• Proven senior or technical recruiting experience as a strong individual contributor, carrying hard senior roles end to end • Ability to technically calibrate engineering candidates and distinguish good from great • Excellent proactive, passive-first sourcing for scarce senior talent • Track record of building pipelines ahead of demand • Experience partnering with hiring managers, refining specifications, and constructively pushing back • Ability to run roles independently without oversight • Comfort working in a fast-moving, ambiguous scale-up environment • Deliberate, fluent use of AI in recruiting • Experience hiring engineers in a regulated or complex domain such as energy, fintech, or payments (desirable) • Experience with a structured, calibrated hiring process such as a Bar Raiser-style process (desirable) • Familiarity with Ashby or similar structured hiring tooling (desirable) • Fluent English speaking, reading, and writing
