📋 Description

• Own and improve day-to-day financial reporting and controls • Identify manual finance processes and design efficient workflows with engineering teams • Reconcile payments from Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia, direct bookings and other distribution channels • Reconcile bank accounts and incoming payments and resolve discrepancies • Track accounts payable and accounts receivable • Review supplier invoices and company expenses • Manage statutory filings and corporate compliance across multiple jurisdictions • Work with external accountants, tax advisers, auditors and banking partners • Support landlord and property-owner financial statements • Build dashboards and reporting systems for real-time performance visibility • Analyse financial performance by property, city, country and business unit • Build and maintain budgets, forecasts and financial models • Monitor cash flow and help plan future capital requirements • Identify financial risks and revenue leakage • Analyse costs and improve margins • Work with operations teams to reduce property-level costs • Support financial due diligence for acquisitions, investments and new market launches • Present insights and recommendations to founders and management • Build reliable monthly management reporting, improve cash-flow and profitability visibility, automate finance processes, and take ownership of increasingly important finance functions

🎯 Requirements

• Highly analytical and comfortable working with numbers • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy • Strong understanding of accounting and financial principles • Comfortable working with large volumes of financial and operational data • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills • Strong reconciliation, financial control and problem-solving skills • Commercial mindset • High level of ownership and accountability • Comfortable working independently • Able to operate in a fast-moving environment • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Comfortable communicating directly with senior management • Passion for technology, automation and AI • Ambitious and seeking significantly more responsibility over time • Experience in accounting, audit, investment banking, private equity, FP&A, consulting, hospitality, real estate or a high-growth startup is highly valued • A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Mathematics or a related analytical field is preferred
