📋 Description

• Provide strategic project and programme management support for complex business development, integration, separation and transition activities within Clinical Operations • Bring structure and momentum to complex, high-priority initiatives • Develop clear roadmaps and coordinate activities across functions • Manage priorities, risks, dependencies and deliverables • Work with senior stakeholders across Business Development, Clinical Operations, Clinical Development and other relevant functions • Represent Clinical Operations in high-level cross-functional discussions • Translate broader business objectives into clear, actionable deliverables • Lead and facilitate workshops and establish ownership and governance • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and directly lead selected initiatives when required • Lead sub-workstreams and discrete programmes relating to integration, separation, transition and partnership opportunities • Manage project roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, risks and actions • Provide senior leadership visibility into priorities, risks, impacts, decisions and progress • Establish and manage cross-functional working groups and governance forums • Develop and implement processes, guidance and written standards for integration and post-deal activities • Partner with internal teams and external vendors or partners to establish transition strategies and manage execution • Identify, assess, mitigate and escalate project risks, issues and dependencies • Lead or support issue management, CAPA development/response and change control activities • Act as a subject matter expert for study delivery and integration/separation activities • Travel selectively to support key integration activities, with some face-to-face interaction potentially required during early integration stages

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific, business or related discipline • Strong project or programme management experience, ideally within a complex global organisation • Proven ability to manage high-priority projects with multiple stakeholders, competing priorities and demanding timelines • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including engagement with senior stakeholders • Ability to influence across a matrix organisation and drive outcomes without direct authority • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing complex dependencies, risks and issues • Experience managing vendors, CROs, external partners or other third parties • Ability to drive process improvement and establish structured ways of working • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to translate complex information into clear plans and actions • Preferred: experience within Clinical Operations, clinical development, clinical study delivery or the broader life sciences environment • Preferred: experience supporting business development, integration, separation, divestment, transition or partnership activities • Preferred: experience developing written standards, processes, guidance or operating models • Preferred: experience in project management consulting, transformation, global process ownership or similar consulting-style environments • Preferred: knowledge of clinical trial processes and study delivery • Excellent project and programme management capability • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills • Confident communication with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders • Ability to simplify complex problems and create clear, practical roadmaps • Strong influencing and relationship-building capability • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and changing environment • Strong judgement, initiative, urgency, pragmatism and delivery focus • Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment and drive accountability across teams • Strong risk, issue and dependency management skills • Ability to deliver to demanding deadlines while maintaining quality • Strong vendor and external partner management capability • Proficiency with project management, planning, risk management and workshop facilitation tools
