📋 Description

• Own the technical solution and architecture end to end • Join daily stand-ups and challenge technical decisions where needed • Set and enforce engineering standards, including the release process and platform security • Spot risks early, clear blockers and manage competing priorities • Be the client’s go-to technical contact, setting clear expectations and giving them confidence the project is under control • Make sure solutions are built to be maintained and supported long term through the managed service • Report clearly and concisely, both internally and to the client

🎯 Requirements

• A background as a Tech Lead, Lead Engineer, Solutions Architect or Lead Consultant on data or cloud platform projects • Strong architectural knowledge of modern cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP) • Experience working in regulated environments where security and governance matter • Able to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical and commercial stakeholders • Highly organised, detail-focused, reliable and proactive • Comfortable in a fast-moving consultancy or start-up environment where priorities change • Databricks experience • Experience in insurance, reinsurance or financial services
