📋 Description

• Develop components of a cross-domain security system within an agile development team • Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including understanding the need for change, software design, coding, testing, delivery, and support • Understand high-level requirements and collaborate to find solutions • Investigate technologies and assess their applicability • Develop high-quality code • Solve deeply technical issues • Build unit, acceptance, and performance tests • Build deployment code and pipelines in consultation with DevOps specialists • Analyse and resolve third-line support issues • Collaborate on code development and review colleagues’ work • Participate in indicative estimating and planning • Perform other reasonable duties relevant to skills and experience

🎯 Requirements

• Experience developing software using core and/or related technologies • Experience with agile working practices • Experience with TDD • Experience with BDD • Experience with continuous delivery • Experience with DevOps • Experience with pair programming • Experience with estimating and planning • Java as the primary development language • Experience or exposure to C++ • Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, Golang, or Bash scripting is useful • Experience with Spring Boot • Experience with AWS services including S3, Fargate, Lambda, and SQS/SNS • Experience with RDBMS such as Postgres or Oracle and JPA • Experience with MongoDB • Experience with DynamoDB • Experience with REST • Experience with RabbitMQ • Experience with Docker • Experience with Linux • Experience with Terraform • Experience with Ansible • Experience with Jenkins • Experience with Git/Bitbucket • Experience with GitLab • Experience with Kubernetes • BPSS clearance eligibility • Must meet UK Government residency and right-to-work requirements associated with the required clearance level
