📋 Description

• Transform customer and business objectives into compelling, purposeful, simple, and feasible products • Develop multiple solutions for defined challenges across the product suite • Manage design projects from discovery and concept ideation through user flows, wireframes, and full-fidelity prototypes • Prioritize simplicity, speed, and trust for non-technical users • Partner with leadership and product marketing stakeholders to meet customer needs and desired results • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, engineers, and other designers in a triad model • Present design processes, inspiration, decisions, and rationale to stakeholders • Use storytelling to communicate complex design rationale and build alignment • Participate in design reviews, triage feedback, and iterate on solutions • Champion cohesion, consistency, accessibility, and design-system usage • Apply design-system standards and contribute to their evolution • Connect screens into cohesive flows • Apply Jobs-to-be-Done methodology and user-centered design principles • Conduct customer interviews and usability tests and translate findings into design iterations • Build understanding of customer needs, workflows, and business goals to make informed design decisions • Continuously develop design skills and depth in core areas • Coach peers and share learnings • Nurture WorkWave's culture and principles • Participate in design critiques and provide constructive feedback • Stay current with design trends, tools, methodologies, and AI-powered product practices

🎯 Requirements

• 4 or more years of experience as a user experience/product designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar role • Proven experience delivering product design initiatives that improved user outcomes or business metrics • Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality digital products and design skills • Proven ability to clearly communicate design decisions and their customer impact • Ability to communicate and present complex problems clearly to diverse audiences • Deep understanding of user-centered design processes and human-computer interaction principles • Ability to evaluate customer and business impact of design decisions • Proficiency in modern design tools, with Figma preferred • Experience using qualitative and quantitative research methods • Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field, or equivalent professional experience in the design field • Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with design trends and best practices • Experience designing complex enterprise or SaaS workflows, particularly in B2B environments • Background in service industry workflows or field service management • Experience with enterprise product design or financial services product design • Experience with AI-powered features or data-driven product experiences • Experience solving complex problems at a systems/service level • Knowledge of Jobs-to-be-Done methodology and service design principles • Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices • Experience with design systems and component-based design approaches • Experience mentoring junior designers or leading design initiatives • Experience working in cross-functional agile product teams • Experience presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders and executives
