📋 Description

• Provide end-to-end operational support for specific UK events, including liaising with venues, partners, and suppliers • Obtain quotes and coordinate travel and logistics • Work with production teams and prepare event materials • Produce risk assessments and event documentation, including briefs, schedules, and post-event evaluations • Represent WBR UK at events and act as an Event Day Lead • Recruit and manage event volunteers and maintain volunteer documentation and records • Draft communications and materials supporting advocacy and partnerships • Maintain a database of UK journalists, agencies, and relevant organizations • Build and maintain relationships with UK organizations and individuals in influencing and advocacy, including funding partners • Support collaboration, events, and external engagement opportunities • Undertake market and stakeholder analysis across influencing and fundraising • Identify trends, organizations, networks, events, and opportunities informing UK activity • Support reports, trackers, and dashboards across the events portfolio using the CRM • Ensure high-quality data management • Provide oversight and follow-up of communications channels, including inboxes, voicemails, incoming mail, and packages

🎯 Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience • Experience coordinating and delivering events, ideally involving external stakeholders, senior audiences, or high-profile partners • Experience working across communications, events, partnerships, or advocacy/influencing activity • Experience building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders and partners • Experience identifying and developing opportunities for collaboration, events, and external engagement • Experience undertaking research and market or sector analysis • Experience producing or coordinating high-quality communications and engagement materials • Strong project management, organization, and attention to detail • Experience working across multiple projects and stakeholders • Experience working with senior colleagues and external stakeholders, including preparing briefings, agendas, background information, and follow-up communications • Ability to represent an organization externally and communicate its purpose, evidence, and impact clearly and compellingly • Preferred: Experience in the charity, international development, sustainability, or a related sector • Preferred: Experience with high-profile events, senior audiences, advocacy organizations, funders, or external partners • Preferred: Experience developing and maintaining networks of contacts and using relationships to create opportunities and amplify organizational messages
