📋 Description

• Own the solution design for finance operations automation on Redwood Finance Automation • Analyze current-state record-to-report processes with controllers and finance operations leads • Design target automation across period-end close, reconciliation, journals and intercompany • Determine where standard Redwood capability applies and where extensions are justified • Design integrations with SAP S/4HANA or ECC and other source systems • Design balance sheet auto-certification rules, controls, approvals and audit trails • Guide engineers through build and review deliverables against the solution design • Define test strategy and acceptance criteria with finance users • Remain involved through build, testing and go-live, making design decisions when implementation realities arise • Create a roadmap for subsequent automation waves

🎯 Requirements

• Solution design ownership on at least one live Redwood Finance Automation (RunMyFinance) implementation, including running design workshops and writing the design • 8 or more years in finance transformation, finance systems or record-to-report process design • Working understanding of SAP FI/CO, or the Oracle equivalent • Understanding of how close and reconciliation data flows between the ERP and automation layer • Experience running workshops with finance users and turning their input into a buildable and testable design • Ability to work with senior finance stakeholders and defend design decisions • English language • Consultants must be based in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Spain, Portugal, Italy or Czechia • Finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar) is useful but not essential • Hands-on Redwood build experience, BlackLine, Trintech, or SAP Advanced Financial Closing experience is useful but not essential • Financial services or other regulated-industry experience, including SOX or similar audit controls, is useful but not essential
