📋 Description

• Own the solution design for a finance-operations automation programme on Redwood Finance Automation • Work with finance process owners to analyse current record-to-report processes • Decide what to automate and in what sequence • Produce the solution design for engineering implementation • Support the design through build, testing and go-live • Make design decisions when the planned solution meets real-world implementation conditions • Design automation across period-end close, reconciliation, journals and intercompany • Decide where standard Redwood capability is sufficient and where extensions are justified • Design integrations with SAP S/4HANA or ECC and other source systems • Design balance-sheet auto-certification rules, controls, approvals and audit trails • Guide engineers during build and review delivered work against the design • Define test strategy and acceptance criteria with finance users • Create a roadmap for subsequent automation waves

🎯 Requirements

• Solution design ownership on at least one live Redwood Finance Automation (RunMyFinance) implementation • 8 or more years in finance transformation, finance systems or record-to-report process design • Working understanding of SAP FI/CO, or the Oracle equivalent • Understanding of how close and reconciliation data flows between the ERP and the automation layer • Experience running workshops with finance users and turning requirements into a buildable and testable design • Ability to work with senior finance stakeholders and defend design decisions • Consultants must be based in the United Kingdom • English language • CV and available start date required • Three lines describing the most recent Redwood implementation, including finance processes, connected ERP and personal design decisions • Useful but not essential: hands-on Redwood build experience; BlackLine, Trintech, or SAP Advanced Financial Closing; finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar); financial services or regulated-industry experience including SOX or similar audit controls
