Skip the scattergun approach of applying to every vaguely relevant job. Build a targeted company list instead.
Start with about 20 to 30 companies you care about (use AI or desk research). Include places where you know people and companies you’ve seen in the news.
For each company, check:
Mix dream / stretch companies with more realistic ones. You can still apply outside the list ad hoc, but the list keeps you focused.
