Job search strategy · Lesson 4 of 8
Start with job titles. Add a few related titles, go wide first, then narrow later.
Set your location. Remote usually does not mean work-from-anywhere, time zones and hiring restrictions still apply. Filter by state or country so you only see roles you can actually take.
Save your search and set email frequency (daily or hourly) so new matches come to you.
Stay flexible on seniority filters. For example, entry level plus junior can both be worth watching early in a career. Similarly, senior roles might also have flexibility.
Use more filters to cut noise:
Believe in yourself and go for roles that feel a bit out of range. You don’t have to meet every requirement, jobs often have flexibility, so apply anyway.
