📋 Description
• Provide outpatient telehealth care for adolescents and adults requiring tobacco use treatment • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver direct patient care • Attend on-site meetings approximately six times per year • Document clinic, telehealth, and other patient encounters in the Epic (Maestro) system • Participate in basic science and clinical research projects conducted by the supervising physician • Train new personnel • Participate in teaching medical students, nursing students, physician assistant students, and other health professionals
🎯 Requirements
• completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program, with a Master's degree in Nursing • completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program • current or compact RN licensure & NP approval to practice in the state of North Carolina • National certification as a NP required • licensed in the state of NC, and be certified as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants • DEA licensure with full prescriptive authority required • 1+ years of APP experience preferred
