• Assess new patients presenting for telemedicine-based opioid use disorder care and determine enrollment appropriateness • Manage continuity OUD treatment from initial induction through ongoing care for a panel of up to 275 adults • Diagnose opioid use disorder and co-occurring mental health conditions • Start buprenorphine-naloxone treatment and manage induction and stabilization with close follow-up • Use motivational interviewing and engagement techniques to support patient outcomes • Coordinate additional services with the care team and outside providers • Participate in clinical team meetings, case discussions, quality improvement, and practice improvement • Provide feedback on and help develop practice policies and procedures • Develop and use local and regional referral resources • Manage patient care through the web-based EMR platform • Share regional on-call responsibilities, including coverage for a percentage of company-observed holidays • Provide strategic input to company-wide projects and initiatives • Report to the regional medical director
• Valid license to practice medicine and DEA license in the home state • Must be eligible and willing to obtain licenses in multiple states • At least 1 year of buprenorphine prescribing experience in a family medicine, internal medicine, addiction medicine, or psychiatric practice environment • Strong communication skills and ability to build effective provider-patient relationships that foster engagement and adherence • Comfort with risk/benefit balancing and problem solving • Ability to share equally in regional on-call needs, including coverage for a percentage of 8 company-observed holidays • Telehealth experience is a plus • Motivational Interviewing experience preferred • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred • Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner certification highly preferred
