📋 Description

• Serve as the face and voice of 1Password’s developer story, especially identity and access control for AI agents • Build hands-on, code-first demos and short-form videos showing developers how to use 1Password • Demonstrate security for AI agents, service accounts, and machine identities • Own and grow 1Password’s developer voice on Reddit, YouTube, and X through daily posting, thread engagement, and community participation • Speak at and represent 1Password at major developer conferences • Turn conference appearances into demos, clips, and reusable content • Prioritize and guide open-source projects, including SDKs, integrations, and MCP servers/tools • Create blog posts, tutorials, and reference code • Build an ongoing developer community and foster repeat contributors and recurring conversations • Report to the Director of Developer Relations as an individual contributor

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in technical roles such as software/platform engineering, developer advocacy, or solutions engineering • Comfortable writing real code for demos • Existing X, YouTube, or Reddit presence as a technical voice, with a track record and audience • Hands-on experience building AI agents and working with MCP (Model Context Protocol) • Ability to conceive, script, build, and edit demo videos and short-form content • Experience growing a developer community from scratch or materially expanding one • Experience contributing to or maintaining open source projects • Experience speaking at major developer conferences such as AWS re:Invent or KubeCon • Strong written and verbal skills • Experience with security-conscious developer communities or products is a bonus • Contributions to or maintenance of MCP servers, agent frameworks, or related open source tooling is a bonus • Must already be legally authorized to work in the countries listed in the job posting; 1Password will not provide work authorization, relocation assistance, or sponsorship/transferring of a visa • Successful applicants must complete a background check
