📋 Description
• Evaluate biology-related work products for scientific accuracy, completeness, and professional quality • Assess biological concepts, interpretations, and conclusions for evidentiary support • Review materials involving organisms, populations, ecosystems, and biological processes • Review analyses involving environmental systems, ecological conditions, and human-environment interactions • Evaluate environmental recommendations for methodological and practical soundness • Evaluate materials involving ecosystems, biodiversity, habitats, populations, and conservation • Review conservation strategies, environmental assessments, and related recommendations • Review research-based materials for methodological and analytical quality • Assess whether evidence supports stated findings and conclusions • Evaluate experimental, observational, or quantitative reasoning where relevant • Review spreadsheets and quantitative analyses supporting biological or environmental conclusions • Review calculations, assumptions, metrics, tables, and supporting data • Evaluate scientific reports, documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks for accuracy and completeness • Review presentations for logical flow, scientific clarity, and professional quality • Assess charts, tables, figures, and visualisations for accurate representation of underlying information • Assess assigned outputs against domain-specific quality criteria • Provide clear, structured written feedback explaining identified strengths and weaknesses • Apply evaluation standards consistently across biology and environmental science work products
🎯 Requirements
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in biology, environmental science, ecology, conservation science, or a closely related field • Experience as an Environmental Scientist, Biologist, Ecologist, Conservation Scientist, Marine Biologist, or similar scientific professional • Strong practical expertise in biology and/or environmental science • Experience developing or reviewing scientific analyses, environmental reports, research materials, datasets, or related professional work products • Ability to assess scientific content for factual accuracy, methodological quality, and analytical soundness • Strong quantitative and scientific judgement • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace • Advanced proficiency with PowerPoint / Google Slides • Strong spreadsheet and analytical skills • Native or professional fluency in English • Excellent written communication and ability to provide precise, structured feedback • Master's degree or higher from a recognised institution is advantageous • Work must be completed without using confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client, institution, or other third party • H1-B and STEM OPT support is unavailable for this engagement
