📋 Description
• Review written content and AI-generated responses for technical accuracy, relevance, and professional quality • Assess engineering analyses, recommendations, and conclusions against sound civil engineering practice • Identify calculation errors, unsupported assumptions, omitted constraints, and technical inconsistencies • Answer civil engineering questions with clear, well-reasoned technical explanations • Apply professional judgment to design, analysis, documentation, and project-delivery scenarios • Assess safety, constructability, site conditions, and applicable standards • Provide corrections and supporting rationale • Review application of ASCE, IBC, and AASHTO codes and standards • Identify reliable reference materials and assess cited methods and requirements • Highlight jurisdictional, technical, and procedural considerations • Share practical insight into civil engineering workflows, documentation, and quality-control processes • Evaluate content involving AutoCAD Civil 3D, STAAD, Revit, or comparable tools • Review technical specifications, design reports, calculations, and project materials • Collaborate asynchronously with a small group of subject-matter experts across different fields • Contribute civil engineering expertise to an AI research initiative • Participate in content evaluation, technical question answering, reference review, and structured feedback
🎯 Requirements
• At least 2 years of professional civil engineering experience • Active Professional Engineer licence in the United States • Degree in civil engineering from a recognised institution required • Experience in structural, geotechnical, transportation, water resources, or multiple civil engineering disciplines • Strong familiarity with relevant engineering codes, standards, and technical documentation • Practical experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D, STAAD, Revit, or similar tools • Professional working proficiency in English • Strong written communication, technical reasoning, and attention to detail • Reliable availability for approximately 10 hours per week • Current professional residence in the United States • Active US Professional Engineer licence required
