📋 Description

• Design complex operational tasks for advanced AI evaluation work focused on realistic large-scale supply chain scenarios • Develop reference outputs and evaluation rubrics reflecting experienced supply chain leadership • Create sourcing, procurement planning, supplier selection, vendor evaluation, and procurement decision scenarios • Evaluate supplier proposals and sourcing options for cost, risk, quality, and operational fit • Design demand forecasting, inventory planning, replenishment, logistics, transportation, warehousing, distribution, and network-design tasks • Assess supplier risk, disruption management, multi-tier supply networks, continuity planning, mitigation strategies, and alternative sourcing • Create Sales and Operations Planning and cross-functional enterprise-planning tasks • Develop supply chain systems and analytics scenarios involving enterprise platforms and workflows • Apply Lean, Six Sigma, network optimisation, and related operational methodologies where relevant • Review AI-generated outputs for operational accuracy, practicality, and strategic relevance • Identify weak assumptions, incomplete analyses, and unrealistic recommendations • Provide clear written rationale supporting evaluation decisions

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, demand planning, inventory management, or a closely related field • Experience within a major manufacturer, retailer, logistics provider, or large enterprise supply chain organisation • Direct ownership of supplier relationships, procurement programmes, distribution networks, inventory planning, or supply chain operations • Strong understanding of sourcing, procurement, demand planning, logistics, supplier risk, and S&OP • Familiarity with SAP, Oracle SCM, Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, TMS, WMS, or comparable tools • Experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, network optimisation, or related operational methodologies • Strong analytical judgement and ability to evaluate complex supply chain trade-offs • Ability to communicate operational and strategic reasoning clearly and precisely in writing • Experience developing supply chain training materials, evaluation rubrics, sourcing documentation, or operational guidance is advantageous • Part-time independent contractor engagement • Work must be completed without using confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client, institution, or other third party • H1-B and STEM OPT support is unavailable for this engagement
