📋 Description

• Originate, close and service government-guaranteed small business loans • Promote SBA lending products within the organization • Meet established business results and client expectations within an assigned territory • Achieve annualized loan production targets based on net revenue and loan amount • Identify qualified prospects through prospecting, networking, joint calling and community development opportunities • Market through external and internal seminars, direct mail solicitation and media advertising • Interview applicants to determine qualifications and cross-sell other bank services • Develop and maintain relationships with Business Banking, Retail and Commercial relationship managers • Liaise with governmental and community agencies to promote alternative lending products • Prepare written analyses and recommendations and coordinate with Middle Office on loan documents • Participate in origination, closing, packaging, servicing and liquidation of SBA loans in accordance with SBA procedures, bank policies and regulatory requirements • Balance risk and return and engage in credit and risk management processes • Utilize the LOB Playbook and Consultative Sales behaviors to advise clients and support retention, penetration and One Bank execution

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of U.S. Small Business Administration loan programs and other federal, state and municipal alternative lending products • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Finance or related business field, or 4 years related experience • Minimum 5 years Commercial banking experience or 5 years sales and underwriting experience • Proven track record of self motivated success in external sales/sourcing and creation of new sales relations • Ability to analyze complex financial data to make sound credit decisions • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills • Advanced to intermediate PC skills
