📋 Description

• Process and review international export documents for critical shipments of clinical materials • Ensure export shipments comply with customs rules and regulations • Prepare logistics documents for exported goods • Maintain the Marketplace Admin HOLD queue • Cut releases in Solomon • Review and correct the open shippers report • Split orders after initial processing due to weight or client cut release • Counsel clients and internal staff on global logistics, customs clearance, and export regulations • Communicate daily with project managers, project assistants, distribution staff, couriers, and freight forwarders about compliance and shipment issues • Support clients’ Importer of Record files in the Imperial Marketplace by client account number, protocol, and country • Provide pre-approval notifications for informal and formal clearance exports • Track and manage complex exports to ensure door-to-door service • Coordinate with specialized international clinical-trial couriers for formal-entry imports • Support Imperial CRS International’s U.K. offices and warehouses with logistics assistance as needed • Develop understanding of Amber Road and use it for process improvements and internal staff training • Adhere to the Imperial Quality Policy Statement

🎯 Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent experience • 2–4 years’ experience in a logistics-type role • Strong emphasis on international transactions and trade compliance • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and communications • Excellent problem-solving skills • Detail- and deadline-oriented • Excellent organizational and verbal and written communication skills • Excellent follow-up skills • Ability to work as part of a team • Ability to demonstrate quality control, accuracy, and thoroughness • Ability to work independently • Ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Solomon, Imperial Marketplace, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and small parcel courier software • Knowledge or ability to learn global logistics, customs clearance, export regulations, Schedule B / HTS Codes, and INCOTERMS 2020 • Ability to learn and use Amber Road logistics software • Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds • Able to move a 500 lb. pallet of goods with a pallet jack
